Bathing Beauty

Emily went to her first two kid birthday parties the past two Saturdays. Her friends Turner and Jane (we are sure they will be friends) each had "water fun" parties and so Emily figured she better not miss any chance to show off her bathing suit before she outgrew it! Look at those long legs!

Mommy wouldn't miss a chance to cuddle her cutie!

Play Time

Emily tried out her Happy Hippo Gym for the first time and wants to say "thank you" to the gift givers. She really enjoyed it and, as you will see, had a lot to say about it.

One Month

Hard to believe sweet Emily Rose has reached the one month mark! Here are a couple of shots of her in a 12 month outfit meant to show how she grows each month of her first year. It doesn't look like it will take her another 11 months to fill it out though!
One month weight . . . 11 lbs. 6oz. (weighed 7-14-08)

Happy 4th of July!!

Luckily, Aunt Sarah took some pictures of us when she was in town the weekend before because no one was smiling on the actual "4th of July" in our house! Mommy woke up very sick and Daddy had to miss a trip to a friend's wedding so he could take care of her and Emily. We are sure glad everything is back to normal now!!

First pair of shades... they will probably fit for a while!!


** Emily was weighed again on July 7th and is now. . . 10lbs. 3 oz. Grow Baby Grow!

A Week of Firsts

Well, Emily is now officially 3 weeks old! It is hard to believe - time is just flying by! She enjoys spending her time eating, sleeping, practicing her laugh and smile, and studying Mommy and Daddy's facial expressions.
Emily's third week brought several "firsts" ...
