First Father's Day

Everett celebrated his first Father's Day with Daddy. It started with some snuggles,

and getting his first (ever) bottle.
Later that day he spent some time hanging out with some friends...
several of whom he was meeting for the first time.

Then he posed for some pictures with his daddy and big sister,
our family of four,
and if you look carefully you can seem him ending his day snuggling with his daddy again.
Everett and Daddy will be best buds!

Looking For Everett?

I thought that you might be looking for Everett. If so, I figured I would help you out a little and show you some of his most frequented spots. Let's start with the spot you are most likely to find him... in one of his beds, napping.

You might also find him in his bouncy,
(possibly staring at princesses)
on the changing table,
or in the stroller.
He is the one in the back.
He can also be spotted on the couch...
under his sister.
Or, he could be at one of Emily's personal dance parties,
or just hanging out with her on her bed.
It wouldn't be unheard of to find him working out with Daddy...
or snoozing on his chest either.
It is also possible that he is on the postal scale...
or in his swing. Wait, that's not him.
That either!
Oh, phew! There he is!
Well, wherever you end up finding him you can count on one thing... he saw you coming!

Our 0 to 60 Baby

Everett is a happy baby. He is generally quite content and doesn't fuss a lot. BUT, if he is hungry or tired he can go from this (happy half smile)...

to this in no time. 23 seconds is all it took.
The good news, he calms down quickly too.

The McV's Meet Everett

On Sunday, May 22nd, some members of the McV family came to meet Everett.

In attendance were Bob and Marlene (Mimi's cousin and his wife),
Aunt Patty (Papa was in town too at this point!),
Uncle Roger,

and Trevor and Mackenzie.

Of course, everyone took turns snuggling our sweet boy.

But I stole him back in the end.

We had a great afternoon, thank you all for coming to meet our little guy!
OH! As an added McV bonus, Aunt Mo came through town on June 1st and had her snuggle opportunity as well!

One Month

It's hard to believe that a month has passed since Everett joined our family! Here are a couple of pictures of him in a 12 mos. outfit meant to show how he grows throughout his first year.

* I didn't want to do a "onesie" style outfit this time around because it doesn't show a change as much as a pants outfit would. But, I couldn't find a cute pants outfit so I hope these shortalls will do the trick.

** Everett's shortalls happen to be the same as his "coming home" outfit. I thought it would be fun to see the change...

28.5 weeks gestation - 4 weeks old

First Bath

Everett had his first full bath on May 22nd. The whole family was in attendance...

and I think Everett said a little prayer as we were getting started.
Everyone took part in washing him...


there were a lot of hands in the mix!!
But Everett was all for it, and quite relaxed.
We may have another tactile child, what do you think?
Before the bath was even over, Everett was thinking up a plan that would have him back in the bath ASAP!
Then, when it was all done, Emily passed on the ducky slippers...
and sealed them with a kiss.
