Emily's big Disneyland birthday celebration marked Everett's FIRST TRIP TO DISNEYLAND! He was excited and didn't even know it.
Though, technically, I suppose he has been there before (a couple of times actually).
He was a very good sport about doing all of the things Emily wanted to do, like visiting Pixie Hollow...
and the Storybook Land ride.
But he never lacked things to look at...
and marvel.
And, at about 11:15AM, he had no idea what was coming that would be the most exciting to him!
Nope, not meeting Ariel.
Nor meeting Aurora...
or Cinderella.
Some of his favorite times of day are meal times and that lunch was no exception! Sure, he was happy to see those princesses and listen to the music...
but the chicken, watermelon, strawberries, macaroni and cheese, spinach, peas, and pears were the highlight! (Followed closely behind by a quick dance with his big sis, of course!)
Emily also provided him much entertainment when she shared her bubbles...
and he got to take a well earned snooze in the stroller...
before waking up in time to meet Merida and her cubby friends (triplet brothers).
He was very curious about the large clock with dancing people...
and very interested in everything once we were inside "It's A Small World..."
pointing out all of the cool things he saw.
To end his very first visit we had to let him see Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy - at least from a distance - in the parade!
He was very relaxed as we waited... not knowing if there was anything to get really excited about.
But, as it started, he found a lot of people to watch,
things to wonder about,
and by the end, was in awe of the Disney magic.
What a fun first visit for his big sister's 4th birthday!
Also, he did receive his first visit button.
He didn't wear it that day, but has since enjoyed checking it out.
