Smarty Pants!

Tonight, Daddy came into your room to give kisses and hugs good night before he went in to read to Emily.  You were picking out some books to read and VERY happy to see him walk in.  He came and sat on the ottoman beside you.  After giving you your hugs and kisses he said good night and walked to leave.  You exclaimed and followed him (half walk half crawl) across the room and he picked you up.  Then you exclaimed some more (words that we don't understand) and he put you down.  That's when you half walked half crawled across the room again to the ottoman.  You stood up next to it, rocked it back and forth a little, exclaimed some more, and then (while continuing to exclaim one specific "word") pointed your finger down and tapped the top of the ottoman several times as you turned to look at Daddy.  You knew just what you wanted and knew just how to convey your wishes to us.  Daddy had no choice but to give you a few more squeezes before leaving the room for the night.  :)
