Last Thursday we were just hanging around the house... the perfect day for some Easter belly painting! When I asked Emily if she was ready to paint my Bittwo belly she wanted to know if I was going to paint her belly as well.

She has her own "baby Alyssa" in there who is set to arrive in June - Emily's birth month. :)
Before any painting could be done Emily had to mix some colors...

and get acquainted with her canvas.

Then, she got to work and took it very seriously.

Bittwo loved every bit of it and made sure to let Emily know with lots of rolling around.

Body painting is a little foreign still so Emily didn't feel like it was complete until some FACE painting was done.

Later, during Emily's nap, Mimi had a go at it. (I am sitting up in this pic but mostly I was laying back falling asleep... I am so tactile and the brush strokes felt awesome!)

Then, on Friday, Mimi asked to paint again... not liking her first attempt. Who was I to say no?!? More brush strokes... I even moved to a big comfy chair. Ahhhh.

Here is a little snip to show just how much Bittwo was enjoying his/herself.
