June 23rd - the thinker
Emily had her first trip to the doctor yesterday, Monday the 23rd. It was a little ahead of the two week mark but Mommy was upset by some of her "spitting up" that was emptying everything out of her stomach. Doctor says they are wet burps and not to worry. (Easier said than done!)
Anyway, Mommy and Daddy were also pleased to hear that Emily now weighs - drum roll please - 9 lbs. 2 oz. She was down to 7lbs. 5 oz. when discharged from the hospital so that is almost a 2lb. weight gain. What an eater!! She also measured 20 inches at this visit and the doctor thinks she looks GREAT!

Wow, Emily Rose, you are getting soooo big so fast! Sounds like you are an excellent eater. Us mommies worry but thanks to the doctors for putting us at ease. Can't wait to see your next pictures. Don't you love these blogs!
