First Road Trip

Emily had her first road trip with Mommy to visit Mimi and Papa while Daddy went to a wedding in Minnesota. It is about a 3.5 hour drive and she was awesome! Emily was a little overstimulated and tired upon arrival but worked it all out that night. It was a fun weekend and Daddy even came to town, for work, so the whole family traveled back together on Tuesday.

She hadn't seen Papa for about 7 weeks (almost a lifetime, literally) and thought he was pretty funny!

Emily was happy to meet her Great Grandma Darby - Daddy's maternal grandmother.

She got to "hang out" with good friends Uncle Travis and Aunt Allison.

Emily sat in a high chair for the first time and thought it was pretty comfy!

She had some of her own things to say about the trip... (video clip)

Thanks for the visit Mimi and Papa!

ohmygod, I am hideous! And why didn't you tell me that her belly was "hanging out," too?!? I could have at least pulled her dress down!

But how great is the audio feature?! Fabulous! Such a talker!

Thanks for coming to visit us. It was so great to see all three of you!
