April At A Glance

Life is flying by so quickly and blogging has fallen to the side. I don't want all of these wonderful memories and pictures to disappear though. I still think in blog posts and take pictures that can tell our story.  Here is part of our April story...
Emily's drawing class with Everett
the Easter Bunny

Everett did an amazing job keeping up with our little artist, Emily
April 4th, first time Emily helps give Eliza a bottle

April 8th, bowling fun

(the picture above reminded me of a picture a friend had just shared with me days before...)
April 11th, preparations for Eliza's baptism

April 13th, they can't get enough of their baby sister
April 14th, Everett gets more time with Eliza than Emily and he takes advantage!

April 17th, I love it when they play this game - they play so well together and have great imaginations

 ...and they love their baby

April 18th, new hats for the summer sun

April 23rd, interesting place for a sticker (and I have started to take pictures of the kids sleeping especially if it is a strange position - they love to see them)

April 24th, brunch for Mama's birthday in Laguna

("the ocean feeds my soul" - my title for this picture is very accurate)
April 26th, they are so sweet together, Emily is a WONDERFUL big sister
April 27th, Everett has started playing baseball with his food - today it was raisins
April 29th, the last week of April was very long with Daddy very sick in bed and Eliza and Everett spending a night very restless and snotty - I moved into the hallway so I could get to anyone who needed me with no disruption to the rest
Everett is really getting into puzzles - he likes us to take out a bunch so he can put them back in

April 30th, Emily's first pretty dramatic hair cut
(Everett liked the dryer)

 Gorgeous
6 years apart and teething together
(Back in January Emily filed a complaint with the city park manager. On the evening of April 30th, Mr. Nix called her back.  After an animated phone call, she said, "they call me every once in a while cuz I kinda work there.")
Emily is drawing around the clock.  Thought there were some cute pics on here and want to keep it.  I see a candle, binky, bowling ball and 2 pins, hand santizer, a cupcake, etc
