Playgroup Birthday

On May 8th, we hosted the neighborhood playgroup at the park.  It requires that you bring dinner and a lot of goodies for the kids and parents.  Thankfully, I had a helper and a wagon to get most of the stuff over to the tables.

And because it was so close to Everett's birthday, we brought cupcakes (clearly, store bought) for the kids' dessert.
When the time came, everyone sang Happy Birthday to Everett and we posed for a quick picture.
Emily always loves playgroup treats but especially LOVES when it's a birthday and cake/cupcakes with frosting are involved.
Everett, on the other hand, just cared that he could explore the grass...

 and people watch.

I love your play group. And what another fun way to celebrate Everett's birthday, too!

Hmmm, Everett has a thing for exploring in the grass! Glad you had your helper!

What a fun birthday celebration! And I'm wondering what do you bring for dinner for all those people?!

Wow, that's a fun celebration! And I'm wondering the same thing Laura is, how in the world were you able to provide dinner for the kids AND family??!!
