Sunday Funday

Golf has been a favorite activity around here lately.  Everett has a new set of (plastic) clubs and while Emily draws and colors like a maniac, Everett is asking, "do you want to golf with me?!"  So, we decided to take the kids miniature golfing for the first time.

After the the first shot, Emily kind of guides the ball around and into the hole...
while Everett takes it upon himself to pick it up and place it a short distance from the hole.

Here they are with their specially chosen golf balls before they disappear into the 18th hole.

(I asked the kids to carry their clubs upside down back to the clubhouse.  But, while I wanted them to hold it in the middle, Everett reminded me of a tour guide with his raised flag for others to follow all of the way back.)
("Everett Style" - placing ball, hitting in, and making sure to locate the next hole RIGHT AWAY!)
When we drove back home, I was excited to see our neighbor out working on his motorcycle because Emily JUST asked me the other day if she could see a side car like in Everett's motorcycle book (see below).
At the time, I wasn't sure when we would get to see one but this afternoon, just 3 doors down, Mr. Meyers was working on this!

We took the motorcycle book and the kids excitedly showed Mr. Meyers what spurred their interest.

I definitely did not expect them to be allowed inside it, but he plopped them in right away and then even offered to take them for a ride!

 What a super spectacular day!

* As it turns out, Mr. Meyers told us that he was getting his bike and side car ready to take them to Vegas tomorrow to be on Pawn Stars.  We will be watching!

WOW!! I've never had a limo ride and never had a ride in a side car! What else can these two trump me on in their few short years!!!!

Love sharing the golfing experience!
Hugs!!
