December: Week 3 of Trip

On December 5th, Mimi and Emily went for a hike and spread veggie scraps for the deer. Mimi wanted to do it waaaay down the hill (deer are not friends of home owners with flowering plants) but when they started on their way Emily and Mimi spotted a doe.
So, Emily threw some scraps to her before continuing on the hike.
On December 6th, I captured Emily reading a book to Everett...
and then giving him a turn to "look at the pictures" - aka chew on it.
December 7th was mostly spent around the house doing nothing but dressing in cute clothes and smiling.
On December 8th, Emily was finally able to talk face to face with Daddy - Everett would have to wait for another day since he was already asleep.
On December 9th, we didn't do anything too exciting - except Emily did get to bake some peanut butter cookies!
December 10th was a little different. There was a lot of activity - a lot of which Everett was only able to watch. Uncle Ryan and Liam came over and everyone had fun playing on the deck.

That evening, Everett ate some dinner, posed with Mama,
and went out to see Mimi and Papa's christmas lights. (In order to stay warm, Everett borrowed a hat for the trip outside.)
It was a really fun day - everyone was all smiles at the end!

I like Everett's Parisian hat!! Fun to see Everett's little orange nose too! Matches many of his outfits!!
