Father and Son Birthdays

On December 3rd we went over to "Liam's Clubhouse" for his 1st birthday party! We arrived a little late and Liam was ready for us. He was most curious to know how long Everett would have to sit in his car seat before he could start playing.

It was, of course, "Liam's clubhouse" because it was a Mickey Mouse themed party!
The party goers all had a great time playing in the new ball pit,

and eating balloons...

while Everett just focused on looking cool.

When cake time rolled around, Liam was ready!

But, even though the cake was good... he didn't really feel like he needed to eat it.

After the party, and after the little boys went to bed, the rest of us ate dinner...

and enjoyed some dessert.

After dinner, the adults all played games while Emily was in and out of the room playing and watching shows. We stayed up WAY too late.

The next morning was VERY cold and drizzly - the perfect time for a warm swim before...

we went back over to Uncle Ryan and Auntie J's house for Uncle Ryan's surprise party! We had a while to wait for him and Uncle Adam to return, so everyone just hung out and played around.


Finally, they returned and he was officially -SURPRISED!

All that was left was some lunch,

Emily was happy to help "clean" the candles off...
before sitting down to chat with Uncle Ryan.
Shortly after, we were on our way back to Mimi and Papa's house and that night Everett had a bath. In keeping with tradition, Mimi showed him the sweet baby in the mirror...
and then took him out to show Papa the sweet baby too.
It was a fun party and cake filled weekend!!
