November into December: Week 2

On November 28th we left Nana and Grandpa's and went to stay with our old neighbors, Scott and Natascha. Since the last time we saw them (last November) they also added a baby boy to their family. We had a fun first afternoon playing and the next morning, November 29th, Nash gave Everett his bibs that he didn't like. Everett thought they were tasty.
After breakfast I got a couple pictures of the kids. First, Emily and Everett snuggling...
and then the two girls with their baby brothers. (Sonja almost 3, Nash is now 1)
Later that day we were on the road to Mimi and Papa's and the next day, November 30th, was mostly spent unpacking. Everett enjoyed hanging out amid all of the "stuff" I was trying to organize...
and was shocked to learn that he was, in fact, chewing on a shark!
On December 1st we were off to surprise Uncle Ryan at work for his birthday...
and run a few errands. A few of those errands resulted in this cool new trike (missing a front pedal) for Emily that we left for all of the grandkids to use when visiting Mimi and Papa's house.
Everett amped up his diet while on the trip. Maybe it was the comfy high chair...
that Emily had a hard time giving up.
On the morning of December 2nd, Emily showered Everett with toys in his bed...
and also snuggled with him a little.
Then, she was off to play with reptiles...
while he practiced sitting up and discovered the many birds that visit Papa's feeders.
One such bird (a woodpecker) had a special request that day and came knocking on the window to place his order.
When Everett tired of sitting he decided to roll himself up in the sheet.
He was quite proud of himself!!
Perhaps he will like to sleep "mummified" like his big sister one day.

Everett became a sitting PRO while watching the birdies and Emily's constant activity!

Love the surprised pic of Everett finding out he was chewing on a shark. Definitely has your eyes!
