On February 15, 2009, we introduced Emily to her BIG girl car seat.
On March 10, 2012, we introduced Everett to the same one.
(Emily was able to choose which of our two that she wanted to keep and which to give to Everett. She said that this one is "softer" so she gave it to Everett. Aww.)
He had a lot of fun checking it out in the playroom.
Just like Emily did, three years ago.
Then, she showed him how you "use" it.
Of course, I washed the cover - and Everett had even more fun exploring the seat when it was stripped.
Then, he helped me give it a good wipe down and inspection...
before testing it out.
I was sad to give up the carrier because it was so easy to move him in and out of the car for fast trips (especially drop off and pick up at school) but it was so heavy... it was past the right time.

I can't believe you are in the big boy car seat already , Everett! Looks like you are all ready for your next car trip. I agree with your mama about giving up the carrier. But it definitely has its drawbacks when you can no longer carry the baby in it. Boo!
That B-I-G big boy car seat makes Everett look pretty small! Fun to see the two of them in a matched set!!
