Ten Months

Ten months old. Wow. At ten months old, Everett is laughing more than ever. He is fussing more than ever as well... trying to get his wishes across in the only way he knows. But, there is hope for some change because Everett signed for the first time on the 1st. His first sign... "more." Of course, it was in reference to food. This boy loves to eat his food! Yahoo! He really likes potatoes, yams, and carrots. But his FAVORITE is fruit! He shovels in peaches, pears, bananas, and strawberries by the handful. He is learning to use his sippy cup but mostly still chews the top. He ends up with an equal amount of (mama's) milk on his person and in his tummy. I have to remember to give him more opportunities to practice!

Also, Everett continues to look like he will be a runner...

but is still only THINKING about walking.

Everett is up and around ALL of the time now. He is cruising more and more in the last few days and while he doesn't stand independently yet, it looks like it will be pretty soon. He is getting more bumps and bruises these days because he is into everything and showing a lot of interest in climbing - meaning, he tries to climb up on everything. He is still the sweetest little boy you could ever meet and is content to hang out with anyone. But, whoever is "on duty" better be watching. He thinks his control and balance are far better than they are.
