When I went in to get Everett up on his birthday, he started bouncing around his crib - so excited that it was his birthday.
I said, "happy birthday, Everett" and he went crazy.
Then he told me that he was TWO!!Emily was also excited that it was Everett's birthday and couldn't wait to present her well wrapped gift to him right away...
so they could then tear it open together!
We had, just a week before, seen Toy Story for the first time and she didn't hesitate when deciding what her gift for Everett would be.
After breakfast, we took him and his squinty smile...
to see Disney On Ice. It was a very different show with a lot of favorite characters and we all loved it. Once out of the show, we hung out in the car, having a little food before heading home.
It was very serious.
ALMOST as serious as the flat tire we got while driving home on the 405!!
But, luckily for us, Daddy was able to pull off the freeway and into a parking lot.
The other lucky thing? It was the parking lot for a mall!! Daddy had a dirty job, but we went inside for some fun.
Once we finally made it home (not too long at the mall, Daddy was really quick with the tire!!), Emily was all set to decorate Everett's birthday brownie cake. She chose to make a picture of Everett's favorite princess - her!
She finished just in time for dinner and Everett's party that followed.
(picking a plate)
Everett thoroughly enjoyed his brownie and ice cream...
before moving on to some presents.
What a fun day devoted to celebrating our favorite little guy!!!!
Happy Birthday, Everett!!!

Happy birthday Everett! Can't believe you're already 2! Great job on the brownie princess design Emily! And Toy Story is the best! Sophia loves all 3. I bet you and Emily will too!
