That morning, Emily was able to make donuts with Nana as Great Grandma Velda looked on.
They were a little messy...
but totally delicious!
Once our bellies were full, we loaded into the golf cart...
and Emily drove us to the pool.
That afternoon, while Everett was napping, Nana had more surprises for Emily...painting a set of nesting dolls (which she loves!).
And after Everett woke up, he spent some quality time with Great Grandma and Boom Ball in the backyard.
I also liked, that evening, when Daddy was explaining the TV show Big Brother to Great Grandma (and Nana and Grandpa) so that we could occupy the main TV and watch it.

Great Gramma could watch ten episodes and still not understand WHY?? those people want to be in that house!! more importantly - why do other people want to WATCH them in that house!?!?
