Mimi and Papa hosted a wonderful lunch in honor of their 40th anniversary...
and Everett gave me nice back rubs as we waited for our food.
Our desserts were enormous, and Larry happily posed for a picture with the ridiculous chocolate cake...
while Everett quietly snuck several little tastes of our ice cream that was placed right in front of him as the rest of us mingled.
After lunch, we went out to Uncle Ryan and Auntie J's house to play for a bit.
Everett gave Liam a big hug that caused them both to tumble,
so they had support for a subsequent hug.
We ended the evening with a little show watching...
and popcorn.
