For the second morning in a row, Emily made donuts! This time, they were equally delicious but slightly less messy.
Then we all went in the garage to decorate the golf cart for the neighborhood parade that afternoon.
Most of the ladies road on the back...
but the youngest lady was, of course, driving.
and it was pretty clear that our decorations weren't going to bring in a first prize designation.
But, parade we did!
With Everett waving with gusto the whole time!
Once at the clubhouse/end of parade route, we ate dinner and played a little...
before making our way home on a much quieter path.
But, the quiet was broken that night when we arrived home and started a mini-firework show in the driveway.
What a fun Independence Day celebration we had...a day early!

Now that's a community July 4th celebration. Your "float" should have won just for the costuming of the riders!! Are those starry sunglasses UV protection! I need some!
XOXO
