This morning's baking event was monkey bread!

Which was followed by some lawn game fun while Daddy and Grandpa golfed.

Mama requested a picture with her best girl...

and we had a special midday visit from Great Aunt Cissy!!

That afternoon, we went on a little trip down to the river...

before driving back home in time for dinner.

(It was the first time Emily rode in the back of the cart. She said it was because she was injured and "injured people ride on the back." -she had cut/scratched her foot on a stick while walking back to the cart)

When we pulled in the driveway we discovered that Grandpa was prepping some things for the following day's activity!

And that night, Daddy took Emily to the bathroom with his hat on - just as she had requested!

(I took a few pictures to prove it to her since she never remembers it in the morning. When asked, she said that she wanted Daddy to wear his hat because "he looks handsome in his hat.")
