This afternoon, Emily met me at the top of the stairs to tell me that she wanted me to come and see Everett and that he was making her SO proud. "You've gotta come and see this, Mama!" she said, "Everett is becoming a master puzzle maker!" He also came out in the hall and as we turned to go back in, Everett walked with his hand on Emily's back across the hall and into the playroom.
Then he was given a piece to figure out.He had to turn it around...
until he found the right match!
He was then given a new piece to put on Dumbo. He figured out it was Dumbo's hat and Emily was SO proud of him again!!
It was an especially wonderful moment to see as a Mama. Emily and Everett are so encouraging to one another. It was one of the sweetest things I have seen in a while.
(Just for fun, I took a picture of Everett with all of the pictures in the playroom since the ones of Emily and Everett individually jumped out at me in the first picture and I haven't posted much about the playroom additions.
And if I take a picture of one child... )

Master Puzzle Maker! So does that now require those letters after his name? Everett Joseph,MPM
That Emily is a born teacher-I hope teachers are better rewarded for their gifts and devotion when she is grown!

I want to see more pictures of your house! I'm so impressed by your kids puzzle skills! We are not into puzzles much at my house but every time I see yours doing puzzles I think that we should do some!
