Bright and early we went out for our hike on the birdie trail and I have already posted some pictures from my cell phone but there are plenty more from my camera. Including the overlook,
"psh, psh psh-ing" to speak to the birdies,
togetherness,
spiders (we dubbed this "spider rock" - there were an unreasonable amount of Daddy Long Legs under there and they were all moving in an up and down fashion),
beauty,
posing,
and rock collecting.

(on our way out "spider rock" looked MUCH different and all of the spiders were in a tight group - we guessed that they were all just coming back from a night out when we passed the first time)
That evening I took the kids in the pool but for some reason I was physically UNABLE to open my eyes and look at the camera.
I was trying really hard though I am sure Mimi thought I wasn't.
It was easier when they were half open and I was being silly...
and when I hid in the kids' shadows.
