1:20pm - Checked in and have an ocean view room! Nurse just checked progress and...ONLY 1.5cm!
1:50pm - Dr Wells' orders are to start level 1 pitocin. IV starting now.
2:26pm - Pitocin drip has started
4:30pm - Pitocin was stopped at 2:40 and has been restarted as of 4:10. At 4:00pm dilation was 2-3 cm. Come on Bittwo we can't wait to see you.
6:10pm - Pitocin was upped for the 3rd time and the nurse just checked....3-4cm. Nurse says everything is looking good.
7:55 pm - Now measuring 5-6cm! Epideral is in and we are just waiting for the urge to push.
9:25pm - Not much to update...contractions are progressing and we are waiting until it is time to push.
9:35pm - Just got an update...7-8cm!! Nurse is bringing in the delivery cart so that everything is ready.
10:15 pm - 9.5cm and almost there! Hopefully big news soon!
11:30 pm - starting to push! [on a personal note-Mimi had to move 4 floors away to the lobby :( as some family is having a reunion here it seems and overflowing the large waiting room on 5]
11:57 pm - Announcing the arrival of a beautiful 8 lb 19.5 inch baby boy, Everett Joseph. Mama and baby are doing well!
