At the one week mark, May 11th, Everett had his first full body sponge bath at home. Just before starting the bath his umbilical cord fell off. But I stuck to the sponge bath plan anyway and I am glad since it turned out to not be completely healed.
The first part of the bath was out on the counter.
Arms, legs,
torso, and pits. 
Then, all wrapped in a blanket he had his hair washed.
He liked the scrubbing part - and who wouldn't?!
Before long he was sparkly clean and totally relaxed.
What a "first week-iversary" present!

Wow! I needed you around for Sophia's first sponge bath. Needless to say, it did not go as well. :) Glad things are going well and y'all all look so happy! Yea Morris family!
