Random Daily Life

We have been keeping ourselves plenty busy around here and things are starting to get really crazy since we start our move in less than a week!!  So here are some random pictures from the last month...

On June 19th, Emily held a parade in the playroom, using the bead toy as a float.

 That same day, I learned that Everett can now reach the bookshelf.

Everett enjoys smiling for the camera... the bigger cheese the better!

Though, nice smiles are sometimes found.

 On June 23rd, we had our friends over for dinner.  The boys (Everett and James - 2 months apart) talked cars...

 while the girls (Emily and Emory) dressed up,

and danced for us.

 Everett is a very loving boy, and takes very good care of the babies.

Also, he doesn't shy from difficult tasks...

 but did enjoy it when I freed up one hand and introduced him to a backpack.

On the morning of June 24th, Emily and I walked to the park to meet a friend.

 Emily was very kind to "pose" for a picture.

 And as I followed Emily and her pigtails to the park,

I couldn't help but think about our walk there on July 9, 2010 when she had in her very first pigtails.

Later that afternoon, Emily and I went out to see Brave in the movie theater.  She thought it was very scary but enjoyed it.

Emily is very willing to help her little brother, like when he wanted to play with the trains...

 and try on Mama's shoes on June 25th.

Everett wants to be just like her too.  Like when we were at the grocery store and Emily was hanging off the front of the cart with a very dramatic hand out pose...

and Everett followed suit.

That was right before he inhaled an entire bar even though we had just finished lunch...

 being careful to pack it up...

 and put it in the pocket (just as I had done when I was trying to hide it and deter him from eating the whole thing).

Everett IS growing more hair, though our family still specializes in back of the head growth.

 On June 27th, Emily selected some flowers from our yard for a bouquet for our guest room...

 and, in general, is getting better about looking at the camera when asked.

Is that everything?!  Not even close.  But, it's a start.  For now.
