Clocking Out!

Nana and Grandpa SO generously came to help us for ten days during the move.  They were set to fly away on Saturday, May 18th, so I shut down all work on Friday at 3 so we could enjoy our last evening together.  Daddy picked up some dinner and met us at our favorite spot.
Once our bellies were full, it was time to get a good look at the water...
and take a few pictures.

Then it was time to HAVE FUN!

We brought Everett's new birthday kite to give it a whirl for the first time.
Everett was mainly on "assist"...
and the kite flier was a very excited Emily!

There wasn't as much wind as usual so it was going to require a bit of running and Emily was up to the task.
The kite, however, was not UP.

Not until she rounded the corner, anyway!

Everett did watch it fly a little, but then found a friend.  Everett loves finding friends!

I enjoyed watching them so much but watching Emily was pretty fun too!

After Emily had a few runs, it was Everett's turn.
Unfortunately, he couldn't get moving fast enough and the kite flying was left to Daddy...

and Everett just stuck to assisting.

He also did a fair amount of watching...
and rolling down the hill.

Oh, and there was some dog visiting as well.

And Emily took a little break to discuss things with Nana.

All in all, we forgot about the stacks of boxes at home and just had fun being together...

in a beautiful place.
After ten days of constant work, it was nice to give Nana and Grandpa a break. ;)
I was shocked when I heard that they were willing to come back out for this move (having experienced the horror not even a year before) but I am SOOOOOOOOO thankful that they did!  We love you, thank you!  Next visit, all play and no work!
