Christmas Day

So, later in the afternoon everyone was set to come over to Mimi and Papa's house to see what Santa (and the rest of us) had left at their house!
I love seeing the three little trucks in a row and ALL of these stockings!
There were a lot of hats this Christmas. Some silly...
and others, beautiful.

Daddy also scored a helicopter from Emily and Everett.
I had big plans for a picture of the little grands in matching shirts...
but we couldn't quite get them all to cooperate at the same time.
It was just as upsetting to Adam as it was to me.

Oh well.
Just before putting the little boys to bed, we rushed to have all of the grandchildren involved in a handprint Christmas tree (on a canvas) at Mimi's request. We started with the oldest...

and ended with the youngest.
But, not without incident. Of course, Everett aka "The Claw/Craw," was the only one to grab a tight hold of the brush as I painted his hand.
Then, we ended the evening with a delicious dinner.
We may have all been a little punchy from all of the activities...
but I am sure would all do it again. What fun!

What a fun first Christmas Everett had! Glad he could be with all of his cousins!
