We went for Everett's nine month well visit on Feb. 8th. He weighed in at 22lbs. 9oz. and is 29.5 inches tall. His weight is in the 80th percentile, his height is the 85th, and his head (18 3/4") is in the 96th. That was no surprise (it's actually down from 97th percentile at 6 months) because I have been buying very large hats lately. The bad news for the visit was that he had double ear infections and was on antibiotics for 10 days. We go back on the 22nd to follow up.
At nine months Everett sleeps from about 7PM until between 6-7AM. He nurses 4 times a day - but it looks like we are cutting it back to 3. He is a great eater and loves to shovel food in his mouth! HOORAY! His favorites lately are cut up pears, carrots, potatoes, zucchini muffin, and bananas. He has had chicken and pork so far too!
He loves to laugh and can often be heard laughing about "nothing" while riding in the back seat or sitting in his high chair. He gets around really well and is starting to do much more. He still adores his big sister and is a total joy to be around.

OMG is he the cutest!!! Love the running picture at top of nine months! Do ear infections make heads shrink or swell?????
