Life's A Beach

Another good test for those "walking feet" is sand!  It's not easy to walk in the sand as a new walker, but Everett was a champ when we went on *July 18th.

He was on his feet and wandering around everywhere...

(even enjoying some of his freedom to go and meet some ladies nearby)

and so did Emily.

Everett and Emily did, however, sit for a little while to play in the sand and eat.

Just ask Mimi, she was there too.

But, I wouldn't be telling the whole story if I didn't mention how much Everett LOVED to be in the water.

Just like his big sister.

And no sand in his eyes or all across his face is going to convince him otherwise.

*This was 4 days before we got the keys to the new house.  No better way to take a "break" from it all than to escape to the beach!
