Welk - Friday

Emily started Friday off with a tea party with Mimi and Aunt Angie...

before we (the ladies - another guy golf day) took the triplets for some pictures.
The "shoot" looked largely like this...
with a little of this...
and this thrown in.
Emily was very patient and Mimi took her picture with fountain "wings" when we were all finished.
Then we hit the pool one last time before lunch.
That afternoon, Victoria and Emily wanted to get in a little more fishing and it was a great success for Victoria right off the bat!

Adam and Everett just had to tolerate the heat from their strollers...
but did get to check out the ducks and feed them a little.
Only a "little" because Everett was eating all of the bread.
 Really.
But it didn't matter because Liam's fun was chasing away the ducks anyway.
Then Adam Jr., who was about to get to go in from the sun, expedited things by throwing his cup into the pond water.  And a minute after Uncle Adam retrieved it...
Emily reeled in her first catch of the day.
 Everett was so excited!
 Liam too!
Of course, I wish I had put Everett's hat up before capturing this picture...
but I did it right after... if that counts.
Eventually, we left fishing and had our final BYOT dinner and then played...
BIG...

until it was time to run in for bath...
 and get ready for bed.
But, shhh, don't tell the little kids... we had a birthday party after they went to bed for Uncle Adam and Victoria...
(Cheers to them!)
and finished out the vacation with one last game night.
We always love our Lawrence Welk vacations - thanks Mimi and Papa!!
