Vacation looks good on Everett.
Unfortunately, teething doesn't take a vacation.
But we did, and on our first day we filled it up! First, Emily REALLY wanted to go fishing.
So we all went to the pond...and Daddy helped Emily put the bait on the hook.
But it wasn't without drama.
Someone was overtired and completely lost it...
which Everett did not find humorous since it was so hot!
Thankfully she got it together and Emily and Daddy were able to cast...
and wait...while they watched the fish checking out breakfast.
And after fifteen minutes - success!!
But, while Emily didn't want to hold it...Everett did!!
A pretty good reward for his time in the sun.
Then, they unhooked it and threw it back...
just to free up the hook for the next fishy...ten minutes later.
Again, Everett was rewarded for his support...
and Emily was a little creeped out.
But, it was a very successful fishing time followed by a much needed nap.
Such a good nap that we missed the canon ball competition being held at the pool...
that Papa won!
But soon enough we were at the pool...
and part of the group.
From the pool, we went back for our first *BYOT dinner at our patio (*Bring Your Own Table - one from each of the three condos we were occupying) and then a family walk...
back to the pond...for some evening fishing...
and fun.
And that was the end of the day for the little kids but the rest of us finished out the night with a game!

LOVE Everett's little fishy hugs! :-) That was day one?!?! Feels like a hundred years ago already, darn! Emily may be a real angler!
Fishy kisses! XOXO
PS- Great picture of the flying triplets! :)
Wow, what a great first day of your family vacation! Love the fishing shots the best.
What an awesome vacation! It's so fun that all of your family can be there together. I love your "triplet" pictures. We do that with our "twins" in our family! :) Miss you guys!!
