"Thanksmas" Vacation - Happy Birthday, Liam!

After decorating the Christmas tree, we were headed over to a wild birthday party.

For Liam!

The first game was Pin the Nose On the Lion and the birthday boy started it off.

Followed by Everett...

(who was impressed with his work)

and Kaia...

while Adam cheered from the sidelines.

 He was encouraged to try it out himself...

but in the end, he elected to have Liam place his lion nose...

and then cheered his efforts.

Emily was up for the challenge, but only with Daddy's support.

Once that game was over, everyone played around a little...

before Liam opened his gifts...

and declined his cake.

"Dude, Everett, watch out. They're trying to make him eat cake in here."

"Mmmmm, things are tough all over."

Actually, everyone other than Liam loved the chance to eat some cupcakes before going in the backyard... 

for piñata time!

In the end, none of the kids did any damage.  But, Victoria??  She annihilated it.

 That lion never stood a chance.

The wild party definitely lived up to it's billing and even ended with some daring driving...

before everyone rested their heads for a while and napped.

That evening, we reconvened for some more play...

and dinner...

before the boys went to bed.  Emily, however, was able to stay up late to watch Uncle Ryan open his own gift...

 and read bedtime stories with Mimi...

before she went to sleep and the adults played some games.  :)
