While the kids had lunch and napped on the 20th, Mimi and I ran a few errands. And some of the things we picked up were bathing suits and swim diapers! Perfect, because they were eager to jump in with Daddy that evening...
as the sun was going down.
On Wednesday morning we just hung out a little...
before the kids and I ran out for a few more things. One stop was the jewelry store where my ring was being fixed up (the kids enjoyed the play area for about 2 minutes)...
I had to take a picture later that day as the kids and Papa walked out to the pool hand in hand.
On Thursday morning, I found Everett playing around on Emily's bed...
and testing out the tables he helped Papa set up (rolling a ball across the top)...
before he was shocked to have his hair styled by Daddy.
After the first "do," Everett made sure to tell Daddy what he wanted done all around, including the back...
and then supervised the changes in the mirror.
