When we returned from Texas, we only had a few days before we would have company. This is how we filled the time...
Emily visited Duck Duck Goose because she was wondering what Duck Duck was wearing while we were gone.
We made a run to the store for some necessary appliance replacements and cold weather gear.
Okay, so maybe we were just fooling around with the goods.
We paid some much needed attention to our outdoor furniture/spider dwellings...
and kicked the ball around in the backyard. Daddy taught Everett some key points about being a boy...
message received!
Emily decided that she would be a waitress and asked Daddy and Everett for their lunch orders.
She made important notes about their requests. Reheated pizza and "pastas." No carrots.
Everett also made some big strides in his drawings. Covering a lot of the paper now!
Of course, on the way back from the farmers market, Emily dreamed about having a horse.
We were too busy holding children in the air (meeting the nice ladies and their horses that came over to greet us) so I only have this one as we walked away.
And Everett became very capable and brave while away from his bike for a month. I could only snap one picture before I had to have both hands available for catching him if he were to get too carried away!
