Clearing Out

On January 11th, we went to Terry's house (Uncle Rick's mom) to help Aunt Mo and the rest of the family clean out her house in preparation for it's sale.  It is never an easy job and the overwhelming job always gets to you.  That's when silly things start happening.

(Flannery and I spent our day working in the bedroom.)

Emily spent a long time in this "gown" carrying around this basket...
while Everett was mostly interested in chasing the doggies around the backyard.
After the first 3 hours, I set them up with a movie in the closet so I could have some concentrated work time.  The fact that they liked the pocket door closed was a bonus.  I knew for sure if they were roaming - which is KEY when there is a busy street out front, a big pool in the backyard, and a lot of open doors to ease the flow of traffic for adults with busy feet and full hands.
When we drove away, we took some bags for Goodwill, new puzzles, and a few new toys.
We were all tired...
but we'd had a pretty good time working on a not so fun project.

I like that first shot of the maidens at the toilet paper store!

Those days are for turning lemons into lemonade!
Big Hugs!!
