Playing With Nana and Grandpa

On the day after Christmas, we took Everett's new tee up to the park for a little play time.
Emily showed us how well she could hit the ball...

and Everett did too!

There was also some time spent golfing, climbing and swinging before we found our neighbor, Max, on "Rattler Raceway" with his new RC truck.  When the truck ended up on it's back, Max asked Emily and Everett who wanted to be his pit crew.  Emily excitedly ran out and flipped it over so the race could continue.
Back at home, we had even more RC fun.  Grandpa had a quad helicopter with a camera on it and Emily drove around Lightning McQueen.  (Great Grandma Velda gave the kids Lightning McQueen and Mater RC cars for Christmas)

More fun and games went on at the kitchen table that night when we played Daddy's new game, "Beat the Parents" Disney edition.  Emily cleaned up.  She has quite a good memory for all things Disney.

The next evening though, we played Uno because that is more Everett's speed.  It's not necessarily a game designed for 2 year olds though and Grandpa was questioning whether or not Everett needed to be on a "team."  But, when the cards were dealt and Everett excitedly announced that he had been given a skip, all questions were laid to rest.  He went on to win the hand.
