On December 30th, the kids decorated their first gingerbread house with Nana. Nana put on the icing...
and after Emily and Everett spread it around they placed the candies.
Emily couldn't help herself from licking any stray icing.
And Everett preferred sampling all of the candy. He was slightly confused about all of the chewing required for one particular candy though... a gum ball!
Nana and I mainly ran defense for the candy consumption. After Grandpa's treat of donuts for breakfast, we really needed to power through the house and have NO SUGAR with lunch.
