Christmas Fun With The Rat Pack

We have some good friends that we lovingly refer to as The Rat Pack.  Jeromy and Holly have two children - a little girl named Emory and a little boy named James.  Emory and James are each 2 months younger than Emily and Everett respectively.  Emily and Emory first met on February 8, 2011 in our Mommy and Me class.

Our families always enjoy our time together and this Christmas we had a couple of fun events!  First, on December 9th, Emily and Emory met at a candy shop to decorate gingerbread houses.

Emily's strategy was "one for the house, two for my mouth!"

In the end, she had a freakish smile and a cute house!

But then moved on to a cute smile and a freakishly large cotton candy!

Later that week, December 14th, we had a yummy dinner together and then went out to see Christmas lights at Candy Cane Lane!  The girls were able to ride together in our stroller...

while the boys could discuss the lights in another stroller.

The homeowners on this street go all out...

and even though it was freezing, we were all smiling...

 and having a GREAT time.

At one point, we caught up with some carolers and the girls joined in the songs.

 Then, we walked on...

to the final house that had music playing.  So, of course everyone danced...

and Emily and Emory, with similar personalities, led strangers in some choreography.  :)
