Live Nativity

On the evening of December 8th, we went out to a live nativity in our community.

Emily was mostly excited to see baby Jesus.  As for Everett, he wanted to see the animals.  But, the soldiers were very nice as well.

After our first pass through, we happily ran...

over to the cookie decorating area!

Emily was very careful to get her cookie just right...

and then she ate it!

With great enthusiasm.

Everett was also happy to eat his cookie.  :)

The cookies left Emily with a sugar high...

while Everett was left with a messy face.

With those animals just staring at us...

it was inevitable for us to go back through a second time.

Then we ran...

 over to the ornament decorating area.

Once the ornament was finished...

we took our happy kids...

back through the stables one last time, and went home.
