Post Christmas Fun

The day after Christmas was spent around the house.  Just some playing around and good conversation.  

The 27th was different though.  We got out early and took a walk with Papa...

to Starbucks.  (3.5 miles round trip.)

As we were walking out, Mimi was driving in from the airport.  She had been to pick up Great Auntie Mo who did Emily's hair and played with us that day.

Great Auntie Mo also played around with Everett into the evening...

while Emily got to go with Daddy and Papa to her first college football game!  

It was a bowl game to boot!  The _____ bowl between the Baylor Bears and the UCLA Bruins.  Thankfully, Aunt Angie has a keen eye, and alerted us to the fact that Daddy and Emily could be seen on TV!!

Papa was on TV too, but he wasn't working as hard as Daddy to be noticed.

Daddy said that you were both saying, "sic 'em bears!" but I could only see, "HI MAMA!!!"

The next day, Great Auntie Mo went on her way.  But, not without leaving a few parting handmade gifts.
