We decided to spend Earth Day at the beach this year! Aunt Allison was in SoCal and came for a visit Saturday afternoon through Monday. Good thing too, she was able to walk around with Everett while Daddy managed Emily in the water.
(I managed the camera, of course.)
Then Daddy took over Everett duty...
and Aunt Allison went to play in the water.
Everett really enjoyed watching the tide,
feeling the sand between his toes,
and even got a chance to jump over the waves as well!
(Just like big sis!)
After a bit, it was time to get up...
and move to higher ground to play!
It wasn't too long though before he was on the move...
to get the seagull that was taunting him just feet away!
We decided to follow him up the hill (the tide did some crazy things to that beach that day) where he played some more...
and was joined by Emily and Daddy for a snuggle and some lunch.
He was very excited!
To end our day, we went over for a little swing.
It was a really fun time at the beach... the perfect way to celebrate Earth Day!!
* My camera's flash made my subjects bright but because of that the clouds look very ominous. It was cloudy but not stormy, cool but not cold.
(And I have had a request to see Everett's top teeth coming down more... so here you go!)

What is there about Everett that just makes you want to reach into the screen to kiss those cheeks and squeeze those chubby legs? I don't know what it's called ...but Everett received more than his fair share. Just sayin'!!
