On Easter morning we discovered that the Easter Bunny had visited our room!
Everett really wanted to get a peek...but Emily was first.
Once she checked out her things...
she showed Everett all of the yummy stuff in his basket!(carrots and apples, oh boy!)
Shortly after, we were dressed and out the door to go to mass at St. Teresa of Avila - Aunt Mo, Uncle Rick, Flannery, and Jack's home church. Aunt Mo sang (beautifully) in the choir and after mass we went down to get a donut and then took some pictures out in the garden area before the egg hunt!
(Emily insisted that she get to hold Everett - they love each other SO much!)
We didn't have to wait too long before the doors were open and the kids were called in to hunt!
Everett's first hunt went well. He successfully located the eggs,
picked them up,
and put them in his basket.
Then he took them out...
and carried them around some more.
He was totally fine exploring with those two eggs!
Everyone was asked to gather the kids on the altar when the hunt was finished...
and then we were free to inspect the loot!
before Emily returned all of the empty shells for next year's hunt.
It was a great morning but not nearly the end of our day...

Happy first Easter, Everett! So glad the Easter Bunny found you in San Francisco! Looks like you got some fun loot. I love the photos of you after mass and of you finding your first eggs. I would have been happy with just a few, too! You are such a cutie!
