On March 23rd, we went out to Irvine Regional park for a picnic lunch...
(which Everett loved)
and after we finished eating, we walked over...
to feed the ducks!
And no matter where we moved Everett...
he knew just where those ducks were...
and he liked them.
Eventually, Everett was freed from his stroller...
so I could snuggle him.
After that, he listened carefully to Mimi's "rules of the playground."
And when it came time to slide, he was excited!
Maybe a little too excited!
But, Mimi caught him and he was just as happy at the bottom...
and knew for the next time...
not to lean forward...
until he got to the bottom!
With all of the fun, he was ready for his nap a little early. We weren't quite home and he was letting us know that he wanted to sleep! Mimi covered his head with his fleece and, strangely, he just left it there. And when she reached her arm back to take a picture, she discovered that he had been watching.
There really is no sweeter boy.

What a fun day! Looks like a great park! Glad to see both kiddos are back their healthy, happy selves. The pics of Everett on the slide are precious. And great family pic of the 3 of y'all together.
What a great park day! Everett is such a great slider, just like his big sister. And nothing can top feeding the ducks! Love all the cute pictures of your sweet little guy. He seems to just go with the flow.
