Today we had a special visitor! Uncle Adam arrived just before Everett took his afternoon nap, and when Everett woke up again we went for a walk up to the park.
Once home, Emily helped Everett open a "happy" from Uncle Adam, Aunt Angie, and Adam Jr. He was pretty excited about his very own Mavericks shirt! (Now he will be ready to watch basketball with Daddy!)
He was also pretty happy to receive a goodie bag (which included this whistle) from Adam Jr's birthday party that we missed.
There was still some time to play after dinner and Uncle Adam gave Everett his first ride in the car!
Everett seemed pretty comfortable behind the wheel...
and drove it all around while Emily and Uncle Adam played...
hide n' go seek.
He was so comfortable, and such a "pro" that he was soon standing...
and locating the radio.
We just have to work on how to get OUT of the car!
Boy is it fun to have an uncle in town! He will be back on Thursday. Crazy, he has to WORK on his business trip. Sheesh!
