Mr. Clean

I have already shared how Everett is known to put away the remote control.  But, he also likes to get the mop out of the laundry room and sweep it across the floor.
And, yes, he can get distracted and ride it like a horse as well.
But he doesn't ride on the broom.
He is all business and even gets the hard to reach places...
while thoroughly enjoying himself.
But one night I was totally shocked when, as I swept up from dinner, he picked up a piece of his food  (that had fallen on the floor) and didn't stick it in his mouth.  Instead, I saw his little hand peek up over the counter...
as he placed the food on the counter by the sink.  Twice.
And the other night, again, he found some food on the foot rest...
and took it over to the counter.
(I suppose it's because I always remove his tray and carry it to the sink.)
And if that wasn't enough, he has started to roll his highchair across the kitchen,

around the corner of the table,
and park it in it's proper "storage" location until the next meal.
Pretty soon I will be able to just stay in bed all day as he and Emily run the house.  :)

Amazing! I can't believe what a great helper Everett is. And all while drinking out of his cup, too. Yes, I think you could just sit back and relax and let the kiddos do everything for you. But you might have to eat Cheerios for dinner. LOL
