Last night, I gave Emily a little ice cream cup for dessert and she was very excited! While she enjoyed it, Everett and I went in the backyard to play a little before bed. After only a few minutes, Emily was outside with her ice cream and an extra spoon, sharing with her little brother.
It was totally unprompted, and such a sweet sweet surprise for Everett (and me!).
I was planning to do a quick post about it last night...
but that plan went out the window when Everett fell from the ladder face first, was crying, and had a bloody mouth. Then, his nose started to bleed.
Thankfully, he was all smiles again before bed!
This morning when I went in to get him, he lifted his wrist and pointed at it with his other hand, and then pointed in his mouth when I asked about his owies. I guess that means he is a little sore. His nose is also pretty scraped up...
but I bet he still has sweet memories of the ice cream Emily shared with him!
