Eighteen Months Well Visit

Everett had his eighteen months well check on November 8th.  He was very excited to finish with all of his measurements and keep his measuring tape...

and attempted a few measurements of his own.

While we waited for Dr. Lee, I quizzed him on his body parts.  I asked about his nose...

eye,

tongue,

head,

toes,

arm,

ear,

(uh-oh, minor setback...)

and finally, his tummy!

Dr. Lee was very impressed with both Everett's receptive and expressive vocabulary and was especially pleased when she handed him his new book and he, unprompted, showed us the "ball"...

"bubbles,"

and "choo choo."

He weighed in at 28.6 pounds, was 33 3/4 inches tall, and his head was 19.85 inches around - which consequently is only a couple inches smaller than my head and three inches smaller than Daddy's.  No mystery as to why he bangs it up a lot.
