November 3rd was a wonderfully busy day for Emily. First, she had soccer with her friend Sydney!
She was, again, a scoring machine and it was a great way to end her first soccer season.
(Because of our extended Thanksgiving trip, Emily missed the last two weeks of soccer.) We were supposed to leave soccer a little early but we let her stay until the very end.
Then, she had a quick change in the parking lot so that she and Daddy could head to school for Daddy and Me day!
Daddy made sure to get a few pictures of her favorite parts.
(Mrs. Allen)
And while she and Daddy were at school, Mama and Everett raced home to finish up some special pink cupcakes...
and then hurried to meet Emily and Daddy in the parking lot...
for another change (pink makeover) and kid swap.
Emily and Mama were then on the way to meet some friends for a special Pinkalicious picnic and show!
Reagan and Paige's mommy took charge of the goodie bags...and the girls were delighted!
As they munched on lunch and their pink cupcakes, I read them the story of Pinkalicious.
Then we walked over to the Laguna Playhouse, took a picture of our girls,
and found our seats in the theater.
The actors and actresses did a really great job, and after the show we went out to get autographs from all of them.
It was a wonderfully PINK party...
and a great day!
*BUT, the characters in Pinkalicious are total brats. We haven't spent much time revisiting the adventures of Pinkalicious. :)
