The Hills Are Alive...

The fresh green grass is growing on our hills.  I haven't been able to look away from them for the past couple of weeks when driving home.  The fresh green grass against the bright blue sky... gorgeous.  We finally had a day when I could take my favorite models up the hillside...

to take some pictures.  All we were missing were a few brilliant white clouds.

(Quick story: there was a butterfly sitting on the flowers at the top of the hill when we arrived.  As we approached it, the butterfly flew away, right past Emily's head...

I told her that if she stood still, the butterfly just might land on HER flowers.  And, he did.)

Plus, a few that will allow me to always remember Emily and Everett and the fun we had on this particular day.

Lastly, some pictures to use as reference for where we were/where we live - for those who have never been to our home, those that have and wonder where we took pictures, and for Emily and Everett as they look back when they are all grown up.
